	Betsy Q. is Betsy Q. Forbes, a professional musician and songwriter for over 35 years!  Over the last 17 years, Betsy Q. has released "Butterfly in My Soup", "Are We There Yet?", "Give All the Love", "Merry Christmas to You From Betsy Q.", and her latest production, "Q'd Up".
	Where did this unique artist come from? Not surprisingly, Betsy Q. grew up in a family of educators. Her mother, two sisters and a daughter are all teachers. Instead, Betsy chose to pursue a career in music and has been a professional musician and songwriter for over 35 years.She started performing as a solo artist in the early 70's then later, became a member of several rock and roll bands, the last being a group called "The Rare". She played keyboard and bass guitar and vocals in that group.Performing and writing music in these venues helped give Betsy Q. the experience and professional showmanship she needed to then start her career in children's music.She has been performing concerts in elementary schools, preschools, libraries and family events for over 17 years now and still captures her audiences with her unique style .
