Betsy Q. Music A great resource for teachers Teachers from all over the United States use Betsy Q music in their classrooms. Spanning topics from self-esteem and science to making friends and reading made fun, Betsy Qs music tends to cover requests from educators for songs treating specific educational needs a scholastic enhancement in the classroom. Emphasis has been put on the standards of learning in each state and her music is a great resource for teachers so they can accomplish their objectives. Here are some examples of how her music is a Virginia SOL resource. There are many songs under each of the following subject categories: Science {earth, environment, weather} Social Science {self-esteem, feelings, handling anger} Animals, reptiles, insects Some songs are just for fun! In my classroom, Betsy Q songs are an integral part of the curriculum. Special Needs Children: Betsy Q music is used extensively with these children. Children with ADD or ADHD, Autism and the hearing impaired have benefited greatly with these songs.
